Grass and Spikelet Study — Vintage Botanical Plate Framed Print
This engraved botanical composition presents a cereal‑type plant with elongated culms and detailed reproductive structures. Arranged around a central full-plant study are enlarged component diagrams showing individual florets, the protective glumes, awns, and mature grain pods. The restrained palette—muted yellow, cream, and verdant highlights on a dark backdrop—accentuates anatomical clarity and decorative contrast, making it both an instructive reference and an elegant wall piece.
Ambience & styling: Scientific yet decorative—pairs well with rustic kitchens, study nooks, or galleries that favor natural-history prints. Complements farmhouse, industrial, or modern-minimal interiors where botanical detail is the focal point.
Presentation & hanging tips: Portrait orientation; a warm wood frame softens the tones while a slim black frame increases graphic contrast. Use a narrow off-white mat to create breathing space; ideal placement includes above a console, in a kitchen breakfast nook, or within a vertical gallery column.
Ideal audience: Agronomy students, grassland ecologists, gardeners, collectors of historic botanical art, and interior decorators seeking textured, educational artwork.

High-contrast vintage engraving with hand-colored accents
Versatile for both educational displays and home décor
Attributed to Walter Müller for collectors
A clean white border sits around the image for a gallery-style finish—like a soft mat—so the art feels polished without changing the overall frame size.
